1921 – 2021

When the Cathedral of Trees was laid out in 1921, the nation was still suffering the pain and loss of War and the (Spanish) Flu pandemic which followed.  One hundred years on and we are again enduring all the difficulties and losses which have followed as a consequence of the current Covid 19 pandemic.   We very much hope that the Cathedral can again be a sign of hope and regeneration just as it was in the early 1920s.

Counting up the pebbles dropped into the flower pot, it is great that we are still getting a good number of visitors in spite of the cold and wintry weather.  Thank you for coming and hopefully it will not be long before you catch sight of a brave snow drop pushing through the earth.
